Maya's Walking Tours

My name is Maya. I was born in Israel and moved to Denmark during the winter of 2009 after I met my Irish husband during a holiday in Copenhagen in 2008. 

Since the age of 12 I was a theatre actress and participated in many projects. My biggest love is my audience and the stage.  

After moving to Denmark I started to create my wn family and I had to put the stage aside for some years. 

 

In 2018 I was contacted by a start-up company in the tourism branch called Lokafy who is finding locals to show around the capitals of the world to tourists. Here I found a different but new stage. My audience are my tourists and I am the story teller. I am telling the story of Copenhagen, the vikings, how a city is being formed and how a culture is created. I fell in love with my new job and started my own business during the spring of 2019. I guide not only the real world but also virtually on the screen and I invite you all to join and listen to the stories.
